Today’s Devotional: Don’t Take Off In Times Of Trouble…

Text: Psalms 55

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest. Psalms 55:5-8 (KJV)

Like the Psalmist, taking off at the wake of every difficult circumstance is always enticing. However, before you do, always pause to take a second look.

Don’t work up yourself over every difficulty. Analyse the situation: chances are that you’re exaggerating the facts and underestimating your own abilities.
Don’t press the panic button.

Stop. Pray. Listen.
Greater is He that is in you than all the challenges you’d ever face
You have the upper hand over every life’s difficult circumstances.

You can do all things if only you’d remember where your strength lies.

There’s A Miracle For You EACH DAY!!!

Lord, when life’s trouble comes calling, please help me not to turn my back but to remember where my strength lies. For greater are YOU in me that every one of life’s trouble. And with you by my side, I have an upper hand over every challenge. For this I am grateful. Amen.
