Luk 1:36-37 (KJV) And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
In addition to the obvious display of God’s miraculous intervention, three messages stand clear from the scriptures above:
The first is this: It’s never too late to achieve anything in life.
One common erroneous belief this part of the globe is that some things become unachievable with age for example, learning anything from a new skill to the academia. However, nothing can be further from the truth; for though it could be more challenging because of various other things adults need to combine with learning, there is absolutely nothing wrong with his learning capabilities.
George Eliot one of the leading writers of the Victorian era once wrote, “It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
There is never an age too old to achieve anything one feels strongly inclined to do in life. Limitation only lies in the mind of the individual.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age.
There’s not an age too old, to go back to school, to learn a new skill, to conceive a dream and to achieve that dream. For when there’s a desire and a will, the very same God who ignited the desire causes a way to appear.
Have you ever doubted you can ever achieve those desires God has impressed upon your heart? Yes you can!
And now that you know, list those things, register for that certificate course, Google up how to learn that skill and please start taking others practical steps towards achieving each of them from today.
Thank You Lord for showing me that it still isn’t too late to achieve those things you’ve put in my heart to do. I have been doubtful. But now I know I can and by Your grace I will. Please grant me the strength required to bring them to pass for with You Nothing shall be impossible. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
