Day 162: Three Ways To Be More Adaptable To Change…

Jam 1:5 (ESV) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Having explained in If You’re Weak In Crisis that adaptability is a much-required attribute in today’s business world, and in Beyond Conformity: Masters Of Circumstances that Adaptability goes beyond conforming to whatever life throws at us without ant objection, the questions is:

How can one get so adaptable to our present environment and circumstances as to start initiate positive changes?

Here are three simple ways to start:

1) Calmly looking out for the best options and alternatives at the face of difficulties.

2) Always being proactive enough to plan ahead while also making room for alternatives in case things don’t turn out as planned.

3) Always anticipating and making strategies for changing environments and circumstances.

Above all, a fourth way is this: if any man lacks wisdom (James 1:5) let him ask God!

I am tired of crumbling like a pack of cards under the weight of every changing demand of life… Nevertheless change is constant and inevitable!

Help me to be more proactive- always living steps ahead of every changing demand of life!

Grant that the yoke of life on me be easy and the burden light.

Teach me to live ready, and to always see better options when life suddenly takes unexpected turns, that I might always come out as a master of every life’s circumstance to the glory of Your Name. Amen.
