Day 91: Where Your Strength Lies…

Php.4:5-7 (KJV) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

One of the first and most vital things a Christian needs to uncover or discover upon salvation and redemption is how to win God’s approval in every situation.

… there are times we actually need to ‘lose’ with the world in other to earn heaven’s applause.

This is very important to this lifetime journey which spills over into eternity because that is where the strength of a Christian actually lies in life.

We need to discover this secret so as to know God’s guaranteed ‘winning’ posture to assume in every situation. ‘Winning’ because there are times we actually need to ‘lose’ with the world in other to earn heaven’s applause. Besides there is a posture that God does not endorse!

Here again, the foolishness of God is stronger than men and friendship or conformity with the world might mean enmity with God!

For instance, how do we react at times of desperate needs, in periods of crisis, when offended or defrauded, when overwhelmed and temporarily defeated etc. ?

How does the world react to these things and how have we been programmed to react by the world we live in?

In this series, we’ll compare these with God’s set standard and ponder on how to win His approval and attract heaven’s intervention made available to us by Christ in every one of life’s circumstances.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord that my faith in You makes me an over comer, not only in this present life but through eternity. For this, I can’t express my gratitude enough even with every heart beat…!

Please teach me to learn Your winning posture through every phase, stage and age of life, and over their peculiar challenges. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
