Ps. 90:1 (KJV) Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Ps. 90:12 (GW) Teach us to number each of our days so that we may grow in wisdom.
It’s a brand new day towards the end of the year’s first quarter: another opportunity to count our blessings, delete our sorrows, review our year for lessons learnt, pardon, cancel or reset some of our debts to ourselves and unmet targets, set our relationships straight and expose ourselves to fresh grace as we look on the coming year with fresh hopes.
There is no better time to set our records straight with ourselves, God and others. And just in case you’ve been too deeply involved with and carried away by the activities to do any tangible review in previously, please make sure this quarter end does not pass you by.
This week, start taking an inventory of your year if you haven’t started. Highlight your blessings, identify unpleasant memories to delete, review your relationships, finances, spiritual life, career, etc. and begin to set your records straight before God.
Thank You Lord for the end of a quarter and the turning of a new quarter.
And as I look on approaching days through Your eyes, please give me fresh visions, new hopes, greater strength, more grace and a brand new beginning- a total turn around for good in Jesus’ name. Amen.
